On March 28, 2016, the Swedish star Avicii suddenly announced that he will quit touring. He is at the top of his career, with fans all over the world.   Now for the first time, in the documentary "Avicii - True Stories", Tim Bergling shares his journey for the first time: how he went from his bedroom studio to playing in huge arenas around the world. Since 2013, director Levan Tsikurishvili has followed him on shows, behind the scenes, and in his everyday life. It's a personal story about how a world star is born, but also about the downsides and challenges.   The film traces the artist/DJ’s life from his beginnings, all the way to the joy of his success, from his chart-topping global radio hits and subsequent struggles with his physical and mental health. Tsikurishvili followed Bergling for over four years, and captured fly-on-the-wall footage of his experiences and thinking.   Featuring appearances by colleagues such as Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers, David Guetta and Wyclef Jean, Avicii: True Stories is a cautionary tale that explores the taxing nature and intensity of fame from the artist's point of view as much as it is a film for Avicii’s die-hard fans.   "I wanted to do a brutally honest film about Tim as a person and not only about Avicii. Everybody knows Avicii but very few people know Tim. I think this documentary really shows Tim’s struggle and strength of character. Being a worldwide superstar artist is not as easy as it looks on Instagram”, Tsikurishvili says.

The style of the films is to make history and peoples stories of the past interesting for the general viewer and also hopefully spark off debate and memories for people who lived through the periods featured. In this new film they start always from the Square and then it extends out to cover all sorts of topics. People from the Square featured include Martin Landers, Paul Flynn, John and Denis Tynan. All sorts of stories emerged from the wide selection of people interviewed from the town and neighbouring areas. Stories of the horse fairs, the Political rallies, Leather Factory, Creamery, the Docks, the Swimming Pool, the Glass factory, the characters and fun, the cinema and dances. The filmmakers would especially like to thank all the local people who agreed to do interviews for the film and to Cllr. Damien Geoghean and Willy Fraher and all the team at Waterford County Museum for their help on research and lining up people to be interviewed for the project.

The Emoji Movie unlocks the never-before-seen secret world inside your smartphone. Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite emojis live, hoping to be selected by the phone’s user. In this world, each emoji has only one facial expression – except for Gene (T.J. Miller), an exuberant emoji who was born without a filter and is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become "normal" like the other emojis, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris). Together, they embark on an epic "app-venture" through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the Code that will fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all emojis depends on these three unlikely friends who must save their world before it’s deleted forever.
